A month ago I was in Miami and stop by Urban Outfitters didn't happen to see anything worth wearing, but I did stumble on some appealing books. End up walking out with Pharrell's Places and Spaces I've Been and M.I.A by M.I.A. Both books are filled with with great color and twists. Pharrell's book defiantly has a big purpose to get our minds going and creativity flowing. I can say that point was reached. The book itself is a work of many arts. Giving us a little insight on how he sees the world as two-dimensional world.
"I wondered what it was like, being in that two-dimensional world behind the screen."
M.I.A book is also a brilliant tale of artwork. Most of the artwork is from back in her art school days. This book contains images of her earlier life and grows has you get deeper. Also explores some of her most visual music videos. As we all know M.I.A is one big character and this book showcases it well.
Both books are sold at Urban Outfitters and can also be found on Amazon for 40 bucks or less. These books are great if your into thinking out of the box. I promise you like myself you will find yourself stumbling through the pages on a Saturday evening. Gets your imagination going something we all kind of lose when we get older. Regain it.
